What is... biology?

Biology is the study of living organisms from the molecular level to ecosystems. There are many biology courses on offer in universities, so have a look at their websites to find out if they cover the areas of biology which you find interesting. Look at the content of the first year through to the final year - you will see there are different specialisations such as animal, plant, human, ecology etc. and some courses are also linked to other subjects such as management and languages.
