Professional Development
The Kent Graduate Programme is a fast track way to start your management career. As a two year development programme, it provides access to training and career development opportunities you won't find elsewhere in local government. We offer our graduates continuous development opportunities so during your time on the programme you will be supported in studying for a PRINCE2 project management qualification and a professional management qualification.
You will also become experienced in project management as you will be asked to work at a senior level on countywide projects.

Our Requirements
For the Management/Finance Streams we require a 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline.
For the Transport and Development Stream, we require a 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.
For the Environment Stream, we require a 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental management or a related subject.
In addition, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team will be key to your success.
