How many graduates went on to take a gap year after completing their degree?

Figures from the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey show that 7,000 UK-domiciled first degree graduates from the 2007 cohort were ‘taking time out in order to travel’ six months after graduating. This corresponds to 3.5% of graduates whose destinations were known, a fall from the previous year where the figure was 7,570.
